Friends Forever

This collection is a collaboration between Thelma and her good friend and fellow fashion designer Hrafnhildur Gudrunardottir The theme of this collection is friendship its symbols and triumphs. The pieces draw on multiform influences, both simple and complex, based on small things in life that symbolise friendship and unity such as ropes, bows and ribbons. In some ways, they also reflect more complex concepts of ethnic origins and the role and heritage of women warriors of the past who had a lasting effect on femininity. However, the overall notion of friendship and its achievements is ever-present.
